One Planet At A Time
As of early September 2009, songs from “Broken Cookies” are getting requests on an internet radio station in Europe called Da Squeaky Rockin Chair Saloon, on which listeners can request songs from DJs in several countries, through an online chat room at Paltalk.com. Adrian, a DJ based in North Lincolnshire in the UK, tells me, “Your song “One Planet At A Time” is currently number 2.” They are also getting requests for my song “My Ex-Boyfriend.”
The idea for this song came from a joke in a standup routine on an HBO comedy special.
I sang this song at the 2008 Closing Awards Ceremony of the Queens International Film Festival. The audience was terrific. They got every joke in the lyrics. What a great experience!
